What is in Athletic Greens?

Is Athletic Greens a good product for you to try and use as a supplement and to fill in for the nutrients that you may be lacking in your diet? First of all, try to make sure that you do need supplementation because if your diet is already offering your body what it needs, supplementation is misplaced and you don't need it. The human body works best when it has balance. For example, we used to think that more antioxidants is better even if a person has enough and that supplementation should improve health and in theory reduce the effects of aging on the human body because of oxidants and their damage cause aging to our cells and to the body and its organs, its muscles, the brain.

However, studies clearly show that if you offer an already healthy individual more antioxidants, they don't offer any significant benefit, nothing is that different as opposed to how it was before the high concentration of antioxidants and actually, it may impair the body's production of antioxidants and the immune function because it causes a sort of imbalance effect.
In the case of vitamins, certain vitamins can become toxic to your body and cause more harm than good at high concentrations meaning when you take too much, more than your body needs. A very simple example of this and something that is affecting us big time is obesity. What causes it?

Well basically, it is caused by an excess of calories, fat and carbohydrates in the diet so too much, more than your body needs and/or uses. It's really the same and it is proof that too much can be harmful, even for something that is otherwise safe or healthy because it's not as if calories or fat is something toxic to your body, in fact, you need it but only need what you use, no more than that. Now, let's go back to Athletic Greens. Is it a good product? While it does not have any clinical trial to its name, it does work and proof of this if you may call it so, are the many comments from its users. It works to improve the immune system in people with immune deficiencies may be caused by nutritional issues, it works to promote good digestion due to its decent concentration of CFUs and strains of probiotic bacteria and enzymes, etc.

It works, but better in some individuals than in others. The downside though, it is super expensive because it is double, almost triple the price that normally such a product would cost. Buying it considering that there are similar supplements at half the price, in fact, lower than half, would be like throwing money away.
